Hastelloy Butt Weld Fittings also withstands sulfuric, acetic, formic and phosphoric acids, and other non-oxidizing media. Hastelloy Elbow Pipe Fittings has fine forming and welding properties, and can be forged or hot processed up to 2250 Degree F. Hastelloy Tee Pipe Fittings has a special chemistry designed to achieve greater thermal stability, resulting in easier fabrication. Annealed strip or coil products like Hastelloy Cross Pipe Fittings are solution heat-treated at 2100 Degree F (1150 Degree C) and cooled in hydrogen. Hastelloy Reducer Pipe Fittings has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and to stress-corrosion cracking, where low carbon content permits this alloy to be used in the as-welded condition. While very short exposures at temperatures such as 1290 Degree F (700 Degree C) can severely embrittle B-2 alloy at temperature, Hastelloy End Cap Pipe Fittings exhibits a marked resistance to such embrittlement for up to several hours. Hastelloy Dish Cap Pipe Fittings has also great resistance to knife-line and heat-affected zone attack, where ferric or cupric salts may develop when hydrochloric acid comes in contact with iron or copper.
